Photos showing the lens range and quality of the Canon Powershot S3 IS and the Ricoh Caplio R4
All photos taken on Monday 24 July 2006

The Canon is a 6 Megapixel camera with a 6-72mm lens (35mm equivalent is 36-432mm).  A 12x lens.
The Ricoh is a 6 Megapixel camera with a 4.6-33mm lens (35mm equivalent is 28-200mm.  A 7.1x lens.
All photos were handheld although both cameras have image stabilization which helps.
None of the photos have had any modifications made to them after exposure, other than resizing the smaller ones.
Click on "Med" to get a medium size, max 800x800 pixel, photo and on "Lge" to get a full size photo (could take a long time to download!)
